Kharkiv National Medical University
Kharkiv National Medical University is one of the ancient Government Universities of Ukraine, founded in the year 1805 in the urban territory of Kharkiv. It has branches in Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk providing advanced medical education in the country. Kharkiv National Medical University (KNMU) is a non-benefit educational organization which is dynamically involved with the UNESCO.
Kharkiv National University is perceived by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The degree offered in MBBS (MD, BDS – Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing) is recognized and accepted worldwide. The medium of study is local language however foreign students can choose from Russian or English optionally. The study is more focused on the practical training starts from the 3rd year only that is being arranged in the government hospitals or Kharkov’s clinics.
