University

Bukovinian State Medical University is one of the largest government universities in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. The university is known for offering high-quality education among 6 faculties (General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Pediatrics, Medical Psychology, Clinical Pharmacy) and 49 departments. It is also known as the center of simulation medicine and innovation technologies. The educational establishments were included in Magna Charta Universitatum (Bologna, Italy), the general register of the WHO, European University Association (EUA), Association of the Carpathian Region Universities.

The university is home to more than 5800 students that includes 1800 international students. The language of study is Ukrainian and English for foreigners. BSMU has a state-of-the-art campus with modern technical aids to provide and ensure the best education.

Chernivtsi is an economic and political center of Northern Bukovina. It has one of the educational and cultural centers of Ukraine. The city is called the city of old traditions with innovation in the field of culture, exquisite art, and architecture. Chernivtsi has good transportation facilities and is much connected with the other parts of the world. One can find various facilities to travel and make connectivity.

About Hostel

Bukovinian State Medical University has 8 hostels for national and international students. The fully furnished rooms are advanced and have facilities for sports, Gym, reading rooms, restrooms, and an art studio. The residential quarters have a canteen, laundry, gym, and library. Sports clubs in volleyball, wrestling, basketball, table tennis, athletics, chess, and mini-football are also available for the students. Students enjoy more at the University summer sports and fitness camp “Health” located on the bank of the Dniester River.
