Kazakh National Medical University, also known as KazNMU, is situated in Almaty city. It was founded in 1930. This prestigious university was classified as a “National University” by the government of Kazakhstan in 2001. KazNMU is authorized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is also approved by WHO and MCI. There are various faculties at the university including General Medicine Faculty, Faculty of Paediatrics, Therapeutic Faculty, Stomatology Faculty, Medico-Prophylactic Faculty, Faculty of Management in Public Health and Pharmacy, Pharmacy Faculty, and Postgraduate.
