The University of Perpetual is a non-sectarian co-educational university, one of the leading medical study centres in the Philippines. It has major campuses in Las Pinas, Laguna, Calamba, and Moliono that focused on quality medical education and bringing the utmost skills in medical research.
The University was established in the year of 1975 by Antonio Laperal Tamayo, and his wife, Daisy Moran Tamayo. The acronym “DALTA” stands for Daisy Antonio Laperal Tamayo, the conjugal founder. They have a sighted vision to create a medical educational premise offers world-class doctors from this backward region. The experienced faculty focused on teaching the methodology of medicines with advancement and technology for more than 40 years.
The University is duly accredited by the CHED (Philippine Commission on Higher Education) to educate overseas students on undergraduate as well as graduate levels. The University is also recognized by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) as the only institution south of Metro Manila to have the most number of Level III Accredited programs in Liberal Arts.

MBBS at the University of Perpetual Help System:Â Â Medical course at the University is MD (Doctor of Medicine) is equivalent to MBBS in India, USA, and other Commonwealth countries. A 5 years degree medical curriculum that splits into a pre-medical course of 10 months that is followed by the 4 years medical courses. The MD degree is globally accepted that allows students to go either further studies or can apply for a screening license for Medical practice.
Medical Screening Test:Â Â The institute is MCI approved and provides coaching for screening tests that ensure that students can apply in Screening tests conducted by their respective countries and can start their medical practice. Similarly, when Indian students return back to their country they can apply for FMGE (a Medical Screening test conducted by MCI) and continue their practice.
